Welcome back.  I hope that you all had a good summer break and are ready for the new term ahead.  This term will deliver to you the new Summer release of SIMS .net on Microsoft .Net 4 platform.  SIMS Discover has already been rolled out onto 70% of school servers and will be rolled out throughout the year to all remaining schools.  The next step is to install the SIMS Discover client on a SLT staff members machines.  

The Summer release of FMS has had a face lift and will have additional functionality made available.  

As for the forthcoming release of FMS due in December 2011, Phil Neal the CEO of Capita Education Services said "Just seen a demo of the autumn FMS features including cost center permissions & scanning invoices etc. I think schools will appreciate these".
